The Printed Word stand by their word when it comes to helping in the community

Our professional and highly-secure printing services allow us to work with a multitude of different market sectors, from pension and insurance companies to schools and charities. We work hard to ensure data integrity is met at all times and provide an unrivalled service to each of our clients.

As well as being able to give our clients a service that is bespoke to them and exceeds their expectations, we have always been keen on giving something back to the local community too which is why, over the years we have gotten involved in a variety of projects from offering sponsorship to helping fundraise for worthwhile causes.

Our work with local schools within our local community

We believe a good education is paramount and take great pride in doing our bit to get involved with some of the local schools in our area to make a positive impact. Every year we sponsor the Award for English Literature at The Forest School for Boys at their awards evening which is a truly rewarding event to take part in, encouraging young people to work hard and showing them how doing so pays off!

We also produce the Farlington School Fair programme free of charge each year, making use of our state-of-the-art, in-house printing facilities to provide a high-quality, professional programme for this event.

There have been many more occasions in which we have stepped up and done our bit for our local schools, from helping out at career days to running a careers recruitment stand. Another way in which we give back to the community is by mentoring work experience students each year – showing them the ropes at our printing and mailing factory in Horsham and giving them a positive impression of what working life is like.

Last year, we also attended network meetings held at a local school to help support their fundraising and corporate social responsibility (CSR) vision – which was extremely interesting and something we are also committed to through our businesses eco-friendly printing focus.
